Sumesh Kamballur obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Painting from the esteemed College of Fine Arts in Thirvananthapuram in 2006, followed by a Master’s degree (MFA) in Painting from Kalabhavana Visva Bharathi University in Santiniketan in 2009. Kamballur’s artistic expression seeks to find a sense of structure in both nature and the system of representation, which he views as being intertwined. He explores this relationship in relation to his own artistic journey, as well as in the broader context of society’s intellectual and moral ideals.
