Summer show is an annual exhibition held between April -July each year. It is essentially a summary of Cima’s annual calendar and features an eclectic selection of artworks chosen from Cima’s longstanding collection, various exhibitions featured during the year and some relevant works by artists from across India.

The exhibition is very inclusive, juxtaposing the masters with the relatively emerging artists. It provides us with the opportunity to rise above themes and subjects and portray a wide array of concerns relevant to the times we are going through. It also provides us with the opportunity to feature surprises, namely, rare sketches and drawings or prints by masters and works by relatively obscure artists belonging to our indigenous fringe. It serves as a melting pot of India’s wide artistic pool. It is intended as a visual summary of the art of India, cutting across time and genre!
